Hawk Racing is delighted to announce that it will again team up with Michael Dunlop for its 2023 road racing campaign.

The Northern Irishman has signed to ride on board the Hawk Racing Honda at the Isle of Man TT and the North West 200 - and will also make wildcard appearances for the team in this season’s Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

The 33-year-old, who is currently third on the all-time TT winners list with 21 titles to his name, will ride for Hawk at this year’s event in both the RST Superbike TT and the Milwaukee Senior TT.

Hawk and Dunlop have also agreed to join forces for the two superbike races at the North West 200 in May, while plans for his short circuit rides in Bennetts BSB will be confirmed at a later date.

Dunlop’s appearances for the team will all be on the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, which Hawk recently announced will be its machinery of choice for all competitions in 2023.

Steve Hicken, Hawk Racing Team Manager, said:

“Michael’s achievements in road racing speak for themselves and we’re really pleased to be working with him again this year."

“Our relationship goes back a long way so we know how he likes to work and, equally, he knows what to expect from us. We’ll be doing everything we can to put him on a bike that‘s competitive and gives him the opportunity to build on his many achievements in the sport.”

Dunlop’s TT title record is currently only bettered by his legendary uncle Joey (26 wins) and John McGuinness (23). After a late switch to Hawk for the superbike races in 2022, when he placed third in the Superbike TT, he says he is looking forward to working with the team again this year.
