Dan Brooks

Hawk Racing will compete again in the Pirelli National Superstock series, with Kent rider Dan Brooks returning for a second full season with the team.

Dan started his first season of road racing in 2017, competing in the KTM RC Cup. He gained a lot of experience from this first year, giving him the confidence to then compete in the British Hel Performance Moto 3 Championship for the 2018 season. It was a huge jump from a 390cc to a Grand Prix derived Moto 3 bike, in an extremely competitive class but gave him the confidence to compete with a higher class of rider.

2019 was a big year for Dan where he made a late decision to compete into the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class which was the first taste of a bike that had a lot of power. He made good progress throughout the season and stayed in this class throughout the 2020 season where he achieved his first podium. During this season, along with his team, Dan competed in and won the ACU National Endurance Championship, a great accolade to add to his ever-growing achievement record.

Dan remained in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class, achieving a top 10 finish in the 2021 season, and despite a shoulder injury mid-season of 2022, he finished 3rd in the overall championship standings. After this success, Dan entered the European 600 class in 2023, riding for Team GV Stratos Yamaha where he was mentored by great riders such as Sam Lowes, gaining a wealth of knowledge and skills. He finished 12thin the championship as the top British rider.

2024 was the season that introduced Dan to Hawk Racing. He spent the first half of the year competing in the FIM Junior World Championship before embarking on an opportunity to wildcard in several rounds of the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 championship within the British Superbike paddock, which resulted in a full seasons ride for him in that class for 2025, achieving 12th overall in a very competitive field.

“I’m really pleased to be continuing with Hawk after making good progress and consistently scoring points in 2025. It’s a brilliant team to be a part of and I’m determined to get us higher up the championship standings next year.”
