MasterMac Honda enjoyed its best weekend of the season as teammates Charlie Nesbitt and John McPhee hit fine form in the Netherlands over the weekend. The pairing both produced their strongest results of the year as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship made its first visit to Assen since 2019.

Despite atrocious wet conditions at various points over the weekend, Nesbitt was consistently in the mix to finish 4th, 6th and 7th in the three races - as well as taking an outstanding 3rd in qualifying.

Meanwhile McPhee also bagged three points finishes, coming home 8th, 10th and 14th.

Nesbitt’s efforts over the weekend were enough to catapult him back into the top ten in the overall standings with two rounds to go.

Steve Hicken, team manager, said:

“It was a big challenge to head overseas and compete in some dreadful weather, but we’re delighted with how it went.“Charlie showed his quality again to look really strong on an unfamiliar track, while John showed the benefit of his ability and experience to look competitive all weekend too.
“Thank you to everyone involved in the team, including our sponsors for making it all possible. With two rounds left we now aim to keep this form going and have a strong finish to the season.”

Bennetts BSB is back in the UK for the penultimate round of 2025, which takes place at Oulton Park in the North West from 3-5 October.
