MasterMac Honda rider Charlie Nesbitt continued his consistent start to the 2025 Bennetts British Superbike championship, picking up another hat-trick of points finishes in the latest round at Knockhill.

The unique Scottish circuit - a short rollercoaster of a track, measuring just over a mile long - saw Nesbitt and his teammate John McPhee battling wet weather for much of the weekend, in a star-studded field containing no fewer than six former BSB champions.

Nesbitt delivered a fine performance in qualifying, securing seventh on the grid with a lap only 0.288 seconds off the pole position time, before finishing eighth in the opening race. In increasingly wet conditions on Sunday, he then finished 13th in race two and 10th in the closing feature race.

Meanwhile McPhee, a popular figure in front of his home crowd, took 15th and 16th respectively in the first two races before he crashed out in a particularly rainy race three.

Team manager Steve Hicken said:

“It was a battle with the conditions all weekend but Charlie was nice and consistent once again.
“He keeps picking up the points and he’s got the ability to push on and get some even better results later in the season.
“John had a tough few days but his lack of experience on a superbike was a challenge on such an unusual circuit and I’m sure he’ll bounce back in the next round.”

Dan Brooks was also in action for MasterMac Honda in the Pirelli National Superstock series, finishing 14th and 19th in his two races.

The team looks forward to returning to action when Bennetts BSB continues at Brands Hatch in Kent from 25-27 July.
